Hofmans - back
Matthys Hofmans - 1720

A warm welcome to new visitors, and grateful thanks to all those who have helped make this a most successful year.

Our collection of new and mature violins continues to change and grow, with the inclusion of two instruments by local maker Will Mackay, recent graduate of Newark School of Violinmaking, and a good violin by William Walker of Broxburn, dated 1926.

We are also pleased to act as sole UK agent for the fine baroque and modern instruments of Robert Blaszauer, master luthier, Budapest, who somehow still finds time to restore for us. Our repair service is guaranteed, with distance no object, no charge for estimates and full insurance for instruments in our care or in transit.
