Makes me want to go to Namm this year just for this.More information will be made available at the NAMM Show (April 13-15 in Los Angeles). Eclipsed Sounds will have a booth there. Here's a screenshot from Eclipsed Sounds' Twitter account:
Am I the only one who tried to move that gender-slider image?
actually, my experiments of converting a male into a female and viceversa were pretty awkward... at least for me!
Male to female never seems to work.actually, my experiments of converting a male into a female and viceversa were pretty awkward... at least for me!
I think they achieve this by entering more data about highs and lows, than rest of the voicebanks.Wonder whether gender fluidity will be a major dimension of Saros's versatility and if so whether that will be done through vocal modes rather than the gender slider....
That, and all those vocals are heavily accented.I wish they would make a more robust male voice, the SynthV roster gets oversaturated with "soft" tenors.
That's what I wish for, too! I think there have always been gender fluid voicebanks right from the very beginning, like Muxin and Yuma and Xuan Yu and even An Xiao and Mo Chen. Seems to me, it's so much easier to make female/ish voicebanks sound good... I keep my hopes up that Eclipsed Sounds -- being as skillful as they are -- will be coming up with a really good one.I wish they would make a more robust male voice, the SynthV roster gets oversaturated with "soft" tenors.
