How to get notification from followed user ?

Hello,

I would like to get a notification each time a specific user post a topic or answer in a specific forum. I thought following to said user would be enough, but I get no notification.

Hi Elois,

To follow chillbot, did you try to FOLLOW him? Is this what you call "subscribe?

Hover over his handsome Cinqo de Mayo photo, and wait a second or two and you will see a little pop-up. Click on FOLLOW.

Seriously, though, you can do this with anyone you want to follow.

Thanks for your reply,

I followed an user, but get no notifications whenever that user posts something. Isn't it the purpose of that "follow" button ?

Thank you. Indeed, all notification parameters are enabled. I do receive email/push notifications for everything but posts by users I follow.
