Technical questions regarding the limits of an elaborate post

Is doing a barrel roll (actually an aileron roll)
I've already done some experiments and I've seen that there's a limit of six attachments for a single post - which is perfectly fine for my needs. However, I was wondering if:

- There's also a limit to its physical lenght / to the number of its letters;
- Links to other threads count as attachments;
- Modifying often a post to to keep it updated and to improve its presentation is regarded as something annoying by the comunity.

- The limit per post is set at 10,000 characters, including BB code and emojis.

- Links to other threads don't count as attachments.

- Modifying often a post to bring clarity is fine. Keeping in mind the idea is CLARITY. And what you understand by "often," and what type of content you have in mind.

HOWEVER: If your post looks spammy, you will be notified so you can fix it.

HOWEVER 2: In "Off-topic" sections, you want to tread lightly with very very long posts that have a multitude of external URLs. That could get flagged rather fast.
