Thank you. I'm done with the form now (I think). Just have to make it a bit more interesting and smooth the transitions (the bridge especially needs work in both vocal line and lyrics). I'm trying to do five songs for February (RPM Challenge) and this is only number 2, so at this point, I'm trying to get the tracks into a state where they COULD be released into the wild. When I have all five tracks in this state, I can go back and refine until the deadline. That's a very beautiful song! Looking forward to listen to it when it's finished.
And thank you for sharing the comparison!
IMHO, it's a great demonstration for how they have completely different approaches. I feel that Saros sound more passionate and hopeful about the matter while Hayden sounds a tad quiet, maybe even disillusioned (although I actually like his voice better).
In the end, it might all come down to what kind of atmosphere you want for your songs. Both voicebanks have their pros and cons. Since there don't seem to be any new English male voicebanks in the pipeline, me, too, I'll have to bring myself to make the hard decision sooner or later these days...
Anyone of you work with Ryo lately? From what I'm hearing of the new raw demos on Dreamtonics' website, his English seems to have improved quite a bit...
Still not sure whether to add drums, bass and guitar, or just leave it as voice and piano.
