Antares. The vocal suite claims to only be subscription. I know the individual ones can be bought separately. Are you talking about Melodyne, SynthV, or Antares plugins? All offer perpetual licenses (one-time purchase.)

I see they want to "sell" it as a subscription service.
I meant Antares, I should have been more clear. thanks.I'm not sure what you're referring to.
Antares AutoTune is available as a subscription, but why would you use that?
They do require PACE/iLok, which removes them from consideration here too.And if I remember right, they require iLok. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that, but I seem to remember iLok being the reason I don't buy Antares plugins.)
thanks, thats not a problem. They do require PACE/iLok, which removes them from consideration here too.
thanks. For those that like the Antares sound but don't want to use an iLok, it looks like bx_crispytuner is an option. Currently on sale for $29.
That will never happen, I fear, when I read this discussion:Perhaps eventually Dreamtonics will develop a tool that works with AI to help you capture the timbre of your own voice and create a library you can use to "sing" as you want to. Sample V?
You can train RVC on your voice and then put Synthesizer V through that. But someone could develop an AI tool to take that RVC and improve the timbre of your voice... and/or to let you tweak the emotions and expression (as points in the higher-dimensional space of possibility). That will never happen, I fear, when I read this discussion:
Custom voicebanks
Well in the case of voicebanks, I’m pretty sure you’d have to record every consonant-vowel combination out in existence, especially with UTAU… but if you’re good at editing you might be able to get away with a few things… 😉 Reminds me of that one assignment that my class had to do where we had...forum.synthesizerv.com
Thanks for the tip, but I myself use Synth V, because I hate my own voice. If I would love it, I could just sing crappy and correct that with Melodyne. But maybe RVC could help fill the gaps of missing voice types? You can train RVC on your voice and then put Synthesizer V through that.
Well, even though I liked Type O' a lot back in the day, I'd prefer ES to chose a powerful, raspy classic rock singer over Peter's deep dark and slow Gothic timbre...I myself just hope, that real pros like Eclipsed Sounds come up with new Voice DBs, that fill the gaps, e.g. a deep voice Rock/Metal singer like Peter Steel ... R.I.P.
Peter had more to offer, than just this deep voice, but let's drop that topic.... Peter's deep dark and slow Gothic timbre...
Yep, I've been to some gigs and have heard what Peter could do, still his voice would be rather niche.Peter had more to offer, than just this deep voice, but let's drop that topic.
Something in the style of Phil Anselmo in his side project Down or Chris Robertson from Black Stone Cherry might be more interesting and more versatile.
Yes, I would directly pre-order a Chris Robertson voice DB, if it would be announced.Anyway, lets settle on Chris! A well made voicebank of his could do almost anything!
