Issues with VPN

So if you're having trouble logging in while on a VPN, my advice is ... don't log in with a VPN
There is no problem logging in, and once I'm logged in you know who I am and can associate my actions with my account regardless of my IP (which isn't static even when not using a VPN). The problem is posting and reading posts.

Same solution apples. ;)

To be clear, I'm not unsympathetic, and I don't mean to be flippant. Guys like you are obviously not who we want to make things difficult for. It's just that maximum privacy for users is at odds with maximum security for forums. As a person, I use VPNs or proxies from time to time, and I'm glad I have that option available. But as a forum owner, I wish neither existed, so I'm not inclined to make them work better here.

Not to get off on a tangent, but in this age of Machine Learning, I'll bet we're not far off from seeing VPN-Busting services, which guys like me could subscribe to. VPNs can mask your IP and your computer and all that stuff ... but they can't mask what time you visited, or what your tendencies are while you're here. Dots can be connected with that information alone. Not to mention I can often identify which masking service someone is using, because they all have their own patterns. In some cases, they're surprisingly easy to spot, and there have been a whole bunch of times where I've been able to make conclusions about who somebody is, just be eyeballing the data and comparing with what we already know.

It's very inefficient for a little guy like me to do by hand, of course, but put some computers to the task of coordinating the data from thousands of other sites. If I can do it by eyeball, then computers can certainly machine-learn it. Then charge handsomely for the service, and any company who has to combat fraud will happily pay the fee and feed the machine.

Just now, with a VPN.

So I disconnected it and got instant access. When I use a VPN, I can have this happening 5 times a day or more, depending how long I'm online. It's indeed a pita.

Ad Blockers also can cause issues. The forum is permanently white-listed in my case for that reason.

This is nothing new, companies have been fingerprinting users like this for a long time.

We don't use a VPN to conceal things from the end point because the end point can obviously know who its users are. The VPN provides security from the man in the middle. If I search for something online or visit a website, I don't want my ISP (or anyone who might be snooping when I'm using a public connection) to have that information.

I stumbled upon your post from a few months ago, and I'm curious to know if you've managed to sort out your issues with VPN Pure. It's pretty strange that you're only having problems on this particular forum; usually, VPN issues are more widespread, affecting multiple sites.
If you're open to exploring other options, you might want to check out proxys.io. They offer residential and datacenter proxies that are really stable and compatible with a wide range of sites. This could offer you a more seamless browsing experience across various platforms.
Either way, hope you manage to find a solution that works for you. Would love to hear an update on how things have gone since your original post!

Still it does. It's the same with Google or other sites, they ask me to verify I'm human

Just a thought. It may do this if you jump from one continent to another or select a different country than your own to use Gmail or Google. I noticed this on my end. Amazon, Gmail, in particular, seem ticklish with VPN. Just pick a location in your own country and see if it solves it?

I haven't had the issue for quite a while now. Not sure if something has changed with my VPN provider or with this site. I still get issues occasionally with other sites.

It's not it. Ive tried goign for same country and it doesnt work. I dont paid for dedicated IP though, so I use a general IP which millions probably do, so the triggers I guess.
