Syndicate - complex parallel chains of effects VST

Markrs

So I stumbled upon this which I haven’t seen anyone mention before. it is a Open Source (the compiled version costs $15) VST host that works in the DAW and allows the following types of splitting:
  • Series - single chain of plugins in series
  • Parallel - any number of chains of plugins in parallel
  • Multiband - up to six chains of plugins in parallel, each processing a different frequency range
  • Left/Right - two chains of plugins, one processing the left channel and one processing the right
  • Mid/Side - two chains of plugins, one processing the mid channel and one processing the side

Looks very interesting. Reaper recently added something similar recently so not sure it is something I will use.

S1's splitter has most of this covered, but tempted by this just for the mid/side.
Slightly puzzled by the serial capability though. Is there anything that could host this that isn't already capable of serial plugin chains?

The website doesn't say whether the crossover filters for the multiband mode are linear phase or minimum phase. And there doesn't appear to be a manual, or if there is I missed it.

Otherwise, this looks like a very useful tool. Thanks, @Markrs.

The way I read the website, all of your $15 goes to charities working in Ukraine.

The modulation possibilities look really great....Kinda like Cableguys but for any plugin! Definitely gonna get this, Cubase lacks this stuff.:dancer:

John featured this at the end of his Saturday livestream today, looks very useful!

Thanks for the link to the video Simeon, was useful to see Skippy playing with it and some of the limitations. Also good to hear that they have a planned chat organised with the developer.
